We know that some of you may be travelling from out of town and we appreciate you being there to celebrate with us! The venue is located in a high residential area so there aren't too many hotel options nearby- we recommend spending the weekend in the city! Below is a list of places to stay and things to do!

Accomodation

See some hotels that we have sourced around the venue - most of the below is located in Toronto which is about a 30 minute drive to the venue.

Novotel -

North York

This is probably the closest hotel to the venue - about 15 minutes, however it's the farthest from Toronto. Found just off Yonge Street with access to a subway line. If you'd like to stay in city I would look at other options!

The Broadview Hotel - Toronto

Found about 30 min from the venue - this is a boutique hotel is on the east end of Toronto. We will be staying here for our wedding weekend! Great rooftop space with yummy cocktails!

W Hotel - Toronto

This hotel found in the Yorkville neighbourhood - again, about 30 min from the venue in traffic. This area is known for its upscale shopping and dining with lots to explore nearby!

The Drake Hotel - Toronto

This hotel is farthest from the venue - but found on the west side of Toronto if you don't mind the trek over! This boutique hotel is a Toronto icon and hosts local bands and shows on the weekends!

Things to Do

Although we do not live in Toronto, we have spent quite a bit of time in the city and have made some our favourite memories there. Below are some places that hold a place in our story and perhaps you can create some special memories in these places as well!

Royal Ontario Museum

We visited over the holidays and spent an entire hour exploring the history of the Knights’ armour section. John could have stayed here the whole day if he could!

Prima

As most of you know, we (Cass) loves pasta, and this cozy spot did not disappoint! We found it on a date night and brought some friends along! Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

House on Parliment

We had stopped in here after we had designed the engagement ring together! This spot is a local fave and is great if you're craving some cozy English comfort food! We love the meat pies and beers on tap!

City Parks

We love getting outside when we can - and the city is full of great spots! High Park, Riverdale Park (extra points if you catch the sunset), Trinity Bellwoods and Humber Bay are all places we've visited and enjoyed throughout the years! Grab some bikes and hit the trails!
